Description:
If you love food and sharing it with others, this course is for you! Each cooking session will explore a specific theme and range from simple (e.g., How do you cut a pineapple?) to complex (e.g., Let's make pasta from scratch!) learning opportunities. We ll enjoy the fruits of our efforts with our daily creations and blog about our experiences, ending each week with a student-produced cookbook. Expect to have fun while learning about food and its integral connection to life and living.

Expectations:
This course is open to incoming 7th through 9th graders and requires an adventurous spirit and a willingness to try new things. Students will be expected to conduct themselves responsibly and to treat all equipment and materials with respect. Products containing peanuts or other possible food allergens may be used.
